Drinking Alcohol in our Pubs

Challenge 25

Please remember to bring ID with you if you want to drink any alcohol in our pub 

We operate a Challenge 25 policy which means if you want to buy or drink alcohol and you look under 25, you will be asked for ID

If you do not have a valid ID, unfortunately you will only be able to have one of our extensive range of soft drinks or one of our lovely mocktails – but no alcohol.

As we hope you can appreciate our team have to be vigilant in terms of checking ID as there are serious consequences for our business if we serve alcohol to someone under 18.

Q: What ID is acceptable?

A: At Chilled Pubs we only accept a valid passport or driving licence with a photo. I am sorry but we do not accept any other forms of ID

Q: Can young people (16 or 17) have a glass of wine or half a lager with a meal in the restaurant if it is ordered by someone who is over 18?

I am sorry but no-one under 18 can drink any alcohol in our pubs.

We do not allow anyone under 18 to drink alcohol anywhere in our pubs – even if it ancillary to a meal and ordered by an adult.
